Ford: Jefferies still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies has reiterated its buy rating on the Ford stock, having increased its target price for it to 20 dollars (the share closed up 5% at just shy of 18 dollars yesterday).


"Presenting good numbers helped of course, but we found Ford mgt on the call more in control of operations and strategy than any time in the past 2 years despite industry uncertainty," the broker said.

"Ford is early in an intense cycle of replacing and reviving key product franchise and playing to brand strengths with FordPro. The valuation gap to GM has reduced, not closed," Jefferies added.
