Facebook: Q3 EPS above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Facebook has reported Q3 2019 earnings that are up 19% at 6.
09 billion dollars, or 2.12 dollars per share, meaning EPS that is about twenty cents above the consensus.

Revenue of the social networking giant rose 29% to nearly 17.7 billion dollars, mainly comprised of mobile advertising (94% of advertising revenue), with the number of average monthly users up 8% to 2.45 billion.

In addition, the group estimates that about 2.2 billion people use Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Messenger each day on average, and about 2.8 billion at least one of these services each month.
