ExxonMobil: FY 2023 earnings reach $36bn

(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil Corporation has announced Q4 2023 earnings of $7.
6bn (vs. $9.1bn in Q3), or $1.91 per share.

Q4 results included $2.3bn in unfavourable items, including a $2.0bn impairment charge due to regulatory hurdles in California.

Earnings excluding identified items were $10bn (up $0.8bn from Q3), or $2.48 per share.

FY 2023 reported earnings reached $36.0bn, or $8.89 per share.

Management said that its consistent strategy and excellent execution across the business generated industry-leading earnings and enabled the company to return more cash to shareholders than our peers in 2023.
