ExxonMobil: completes project with SABIC in Texas

(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil and SABIC have announced that their joint venture Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, located near Corpus Christi, Texas, has completed a monoethylene glycol unit and two polyethylene units, the products of which will be used in medical, automotive and packaging applications.


The project is expected to start up earlier than expected, probably in the fourth quarter of 2021. Gulf Coast Growth Ventures is 50%-owned by ExxonMobil and 50%-owned by SABIC, with ExxonMobil the site operator.
