USA: 0.4% rise in import prices in March

(CercleFinance.com) - US import prices rose by 0.
4% in March compared with the previous month (+0.1% excluding petroleum products), while export prices increased by 0.3% (+0.4% excluding food), according to the Labor Department.

Compared with the same month in 2023, US import and export prices respectively rose by 0.4% (stable excluding petroleum products) and fell by 1.4% (-0.6% excluding food) last month.
