Biogen: raises targets for 2022

(CercleFinance.com) - Biogen has raised its annual targets, now looking for 2022 adjusted EPS of 15.
25 to 16.75 dollars (against 14.25 dollars and 16 dollars respectively before), with revenues of 9.9 to 10.1 billion dollars (instead of 9.7 to 10 billion dollars).

The biotech group posted Q2 adjusted EPS of 5.25 dollars, on revenues that are down 7% to 2.59 billion dollars (-5% at constant exchange rates), including 1.72 billion dollars which came from the multiple sclerosis franchise alone.

The group said that it has made significant progress towards potential new treatments for Alzheimer's disease and depression, critical steps in its value creation for both patients and shareholders.
