American Airlines: Q3 net loss reaches $545m

(CercleFinance.com) - American Airlines has reported Q3 revenues of $13.
5bn, flat y-o-y.

Business resisted thanks to resilient demand and record revenues from credit card co-branding and travel rewards programs.

However, it posted an operating loss of -$223m, way off the Q3 2022 profit of $930m.

The company posted a net loss of $545m this quarter, a far cry from the $483m profit announced a year ago.

Basic EPS came to -$0.83, compared with +$0.74 a year ago.

Management says that it executing its plans and remains well positioned for the future, supported by the strength of its network, a young and modern fleet and an exceptional team.
