SAS: passenger traffic picks up in April

(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday the Scandinavian airline SAS reported an increase in its traffic for April, due to a favourable comparison basis relating to the global health crisis.


The Nordic carrier says it welcomed 320,000 passengers last month, a figure up 2% from March.

On an annual basis, i.e. compared to April 2020, traffic even jumped 240%, SAS says, which says that the aviation sector was brought to a standstill at the same time last year. due to early stages of the pandemic.
