SAS: record passenger numbers in July
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday SAS announced a record passenger traffic in July, a month marked by the reorientation of its capacity to so-called leisure destinations.
The Scandinavian airline reported having transported 2.8 million passengers last month, up 0.3%, for capacity that increased by over 2%.
SAS explains that demand was particularly high on domestic and European routes, although it weakened on intercontinental routes.
Another positive point is that the punctuality of its flights improved by 4.4 points to 72.4%.
However, the share is down nearly 3% this lunchtime.
