Ericsson: new milestone in partnership with Turkcell

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson announces 'a milestone' in its partnership with Turkcell to create a network slicing solution, with a successful autonomous 5G (SA) proof-of-concept (PoC).


The PoC demonstrated how 'business' and 'personal' applications on a 5G device (such as a cell phone) could be associated with different profiles, each linked to dedicated network slices.

This capability means that Turkcell, application developers, enterprises and subscribers can benefit from greater use-case flexibility and performance, and clearly illustrates the value of having a 5G SA network.
