Ahold Delhaize: Invest Securities raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - The analyst believes that the group kept all its promises at its CMD on 15 November - and even went a little further, with a more market-friendly strategy; the announcement of the opening of Bol.
com's capital is probably the most visible aspect.

Following this day, Invest Securities confirms its buy rating on the stock and has increased its target price for it to 33.4 euros (from 32.1 euros - current price about 30.7 euros, +2%).

Analysts say that AhDel has often been penalised by its European status despite its dominant US operations, as US investors are more attracted to domestic pure-plays such as Target or Kroger in food. This is justified by the fact that the US retail market still has unparalleled potential.

No European group is able to produce such an advanced multi-channel approach and the maturity of its online models in terms of results should be reached more quickly than for peers, which are not easy to identify, they add.
