Ferrari: extends partnership with EssilorLuxottica

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica has announced the renewal and extension of the partnership it entered into with Ferrari in 2016, under a multi-year agreement signed by both companies that will take effect on 1 January 2023.


Through this agreement, EssilorLuxottica will continue to design, manufacture and distribute eyewear associating Scuderia Ferrari and the Ray-Ban brand. The license also includes the first eyewear collection under the Prancing Horse brand.

In addition, the Ray-Ban logo will now appear on the cars and equipment of official drivers competing in the Competizioni GT or the World Endurance Championship, as well as in the Gran Turismo Championship.

However, it seems to be no big deal for investors - Ferrari shares are only up 0.3% in early trading today, while EssilorLuxottica shares are actually down 1.5%.
