Ferrari: unveils its Purosangue SUV

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Ferrari unveiled the Purosangue, its first four-door, four-seat SUV in the company's 75-year history.


The 6.5-litre, 12-cylinder, 725-horsepower Purosangue at 390,000 euros is already a big hit. The company said that since announced in May, interest in the car has exploded.

It adds that the company had been inundated with Purosangue pre-orders, which seems to prove that a large number of consumers still want petrol cars, and are willing to pay top dollar for them.

The car will be one of the most expensive SUVs in the segment. To preserve exclusivity, Ferrari has committed to keeping sales of the Purosangue below 20% of the group's total deliveries during the car's life cycle, which is expected to be four to five years, as with all its models.

Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2023.
