Randstad: Q2 revenues and earnings down

(CercleFinance.com) - Randstad today reports Q2 sales of E6.
46bn, down 5% in organic terms y-o-y.

Meanwhile, recurring EBITA fell 12% (both as reported and on an organic basis) to E271m, with adjusted net profit reaching E185m, down 20% as reported.

Underlying EPS reached E1.01, compared with E1.25 the previous year (-19%).

The Dutch group specialising in temporary staffing and human resources services expects its gross margin in Q3 to be "slightly lower" than in Q2 (20.7%).

It remains cautious about its forecasts in view of the limited visibility offered by the market.
