Airbus: contract with GDAT for twenty H175 helicopters

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters announces that it has signed a contract with China's GDAT Group for the sale of H175 helicopters, with ten firm orders and ten options.


GD Helicopter Finance (GDHF), a helicopter leasing and financing start-up based in Dublin (Ireland) and supported by GDAT, is to market the H175 helicopters.

' GDHF is delighted to announce the availability of 50 H160 helicopters and 20 Airbus H175s on the world market. This new H175 order, together with the 50 existing Airbus H160 medium helicopters already in GDAT's order book, will be available to GDHF', said Michael York, CEO of GDHF.

' The creation of GDHF and this follow-up contract with GDAT underline the versatility and competitiveness of the H175 and H160', added Bruno Even, head of Airbus Helicopters.
