Airbus: more deliveries than Boeing in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Tuesday that it had booked 137 gross orders for the month of March, compared with just 20 for the same period in 2023.


The aircraft manufacturer also reported 63 aircraft deliveries to 32 customers over the quarter as a whole, compared with 63 in the first quarter of last year.

In its latest count, the aerospace group also reported a total of 142 deliveries in the first three months of the year, compared with 127 units a year earlier.

In comparison, its American rival Boeing, dogged by technical difficulties with its 737 MAX, announced earlier yesterday that it had delivered just 83 commercial aircraft in the first three months of the year, compared with 130 in the same period of 2023.
