STMicro: equips Alcatel 3V with its NFC Technology

(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics has announced that its contactless communication technology NFC (Near-Field Communication) will equip TCL Communication's new Alcatel 3V smartphone for the European market.


"ST's technology ensures robust connectivity for fast and reliable contactless payments, e-ticket transactions, peer-to-peer data transfer, and emerging use cases including interacting with “physical-web” objects like smart posters or store-shelves," the group explained.

In addition, STMicro and TCL Communication intend to expand their collaboration with so as to integrate ST's material digital solutions in TCL Communication's future products.
