KPN: CEO resigns for family reasons

(CercleFinance.com) - KPN's CEO Maximo Ibarra said on Tuesday that he is resigning to return to Italy for "pressing" family reasons, less than two years after taking on the job.


Ibarra will take up a new executive position in Italy, the Dutch telecoms group said.

Market rumours say he could become the next CEO of Italian broadcaster Sky Italia.

Ibarra will continue in office for the next three months, until 30 September. His successor has yet to be identified, KPN said.
