SES: selects two US companies for satellites

(CercleFinance.com) - SES announces that it has selected two US companies to build four new satellites.


The group has selected Northrop Grumman and Boeing to manufacture four new satellites under the company's accelerated C-band compensation plan.

Northrop Grumman will deliver two flight-proven GeoStar-3 satellites to SES, each equipped with a high-quality C-band payload: SES-18 and SES-19.

Meanwhile, Boeing will deliver two fully electric 702SP satellites: SES-20 and SES-21.
