Toyota: production volume for 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - The Japanese car maker is currently announcing a production volume with a ceiling of 10.
6 million units for 2023.

Toyota has made a number of changes to its production plan due to supply shortages of parts such as semiconductors.

As in the previous year, the impact of shortages of parts such as semiconductors remains uncertain. As such, management has defined a baseline production volume, with a downside risk fluctuation range of approximately 10%.

It adds that it will work closely with its suppliers in advance to minimise the impact of fluctuations in production activities.
