Telecom Italia: CVC makes offer for 49% of ServCo

(CercleFinance.com) - Private equity fund CVC has made an offer for a 49% minority stake in ServCo according to Bloomberg and Sole24Ore.


The fund has reportedly requested a 10-week exclusivity period to submit a binding offer, Bloomberg reports.

As part of the reorganisation of the group led by Pietro Labriola, TIM should be split in two, with the network business on one side (which could be merged with OpenFiber) and the ServCo services business on the other, which would include the Enterprise, Consumer and TIM Brasil divisions, the broker Invest Securities says.

TIM is already assessing a bid for 100% of the group from KKR for E10.8bn, it added.
