Medtronic: agrees to acquire Medicrea

(CercleFinance.com) - Medtronic and Medicrea have announced that they have entered into an agreement for Medtronic to acquire Medicrea through a voluntary and friendly cash tender offer at a price of 7 euros per Medicrea share.


"This acquisition would strengthen Medtronic's position as a global innovator in enabling technologies and solutions for spine surgery," the companies said.

They plan to file the offer with the AMF in September. Subject to various regulatory approvals and other customary conditions precedent, the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
