Accenture: completes purchase of ARZ's business assets

(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the business assets of Allgemeines Rechenzentrum GmbH (ARZ), a technology services provider focused on the banking industry in Austria.


Accenture has also signed a series of agreements to provide technology services to ARZ's existing clients.

The addition of ARZ supports Accenture's vision of developing a banking platform as an innovative cloud-based service, it said.

The group will establish a comprehensive centre of excellence in Innsbruck to help banks move their core functions to the cloud, enable new business models and reinvent customer service and experience.

The 600 or so ARZ employees have joined Accenture and will continue to work in their current locations in Vienna and Innsbruck, it says.
