Accenture: expands partnership with Salesforce to ESG data

(CercleFinance.com) - Professional services giant Accenture and business software maker Salesforce announced an expanded partnership that ties the two companies' businesses in sustainable development.


Under the deal, the companies will combine their sustainability offers so that customers can track their historical and real-time environmental, social and governance (ESG) data, they said in a statement on Tuesday.

The 360-degree platform will help clients to measure and manage their CO2 footprint and report climate data, the companies added.

Later this year, Accenture and Salesforce plan to work together to expand the platform and services to analyze broader ESG metrics, from water and waste management to diversity and inclusion.
