AstraZeneca: 7% increase in annual dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday, AstraZeneca announced a 7% increase in its dividend for FY 2024, at $3.
10 per share, up from $2.90 per share to date.

The biopharmaceutical group explains that this increase reflects its confidence in its businesses, as well as its willingness to "progressively" evolve its dividend policy.

AstraZeneca explains that this increase has been decided on the basis of priorities established in terms of capital allocation, but also taking into account its acquisition and business development projects.

This announcement comes as the group will be holding its AGM this afternoon.
