BAE Systems: unveils prototype multipurpose armored vehicle

(CercleFinance.com) - At the AUSA Global Force 2024 symposium, BAE Systems unveiled its third Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) prototype configured with the External Mission Equipment Package (ExMEP).


The AMPV's ExMEP is capable of adapting to more than 30 turret systems, and builds on the vehicle's modular approach enabling the rapid integration of new mission roles into the AMPV family of vehicles.

Keeping pace with rapidly evolving threats on the battlefield is the goal of the AMPV and its ExMEP configuration, BAE Systems said.
