BAE Systems: opens $150m facility in Texas

(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has inaugurated its new 150 million dollar engineering and production facility in Austin, Texas.


This is the latest step in a series of investments in facilities across the country.

The 36,000-square-foot facility is located in the Parmer Austin Business Park. The new campus also includes engineering design space, laboratories and offices.

At the new site, the company has expanded its advanced manufacturing capabilities through a streamlined design that can be easily reconfigured to accommodate changing technologies. The manufacturing facility has expansion space ready for future growth.
