BioMérieux: stock up as broker initiates coverage as buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - The bioMérieux share price rose on Tuesday on the Paris Bourse, buoyed by Deutsche Bank beginning to monitor the stock as a buyer.


Shortly before 11am, the diagnostics specialist's shares gained 1%, better than the SBF 120 index's +0.2%.

The analyst initiated coverage of the stock with a TP of E121, praising the group's flattering track record in terms of profitable growth.

Deutsche expects average annual sales growth of 7% over 2023-2028, with Ebit growth of 11%, outperforming both its market and competitors.

This dynamism, it explains, should be underpinned by the extension of the offering into new specialties, by an already solid product portfolio, and by the quality of the management team.

In view of these catalysts and its attractive positioning in niche segments, the intermediary believes that its valuation is attractive today, based on a 2025 P/E of 22x.
