Spie: lighting contract with city of Wülfrath

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie announced late on Wednesday that it has just been awarded a contract for the operation of 2,380 lampposts by the city of Wülfrath, Germany, for the next 15 years, along with the modernizstion of over 1,500 lights with LED technology.


The city will therefore save over 1.5 million euros and reduce its CO2 emissions by around 2,600 tonnes over the term of the contract, a significant contribution to climate protection, Spie says.

The service provider won this public tender with an innovative concept for operating and modernising the facilities.

The contract started on 1 January this year.
