Spie: contract for field hospital in Hanover

(CercleFinance.com) - The multi-technical services group Spie has announced that it has been awarded a contract to participate in the development of the infrastructure of the field hospital intended for Coronavirus patients at the Hannover exhibition centre in northern Germany.


This field hospital is designed to accommodate 500 patients who do not require intensive medical care. Over 80 doctors and about 100 other medical staff will be there to treat them.

The Hanover Medical University will be in charge of operating this care centre. It will be used as soon as all regional hospitals have reached their maximum capacity.
