Voltalia: completes installation of solar park in PACA

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia announces that it has finished installing a 3.
9 megawatt solar park in Jonquières in Provence Alpes-Côte d'Azur, a park composed of solar shades that will protect a market and its parking lot from the sun and bad weather.

Winner of the CRE national call for tenders in August 2018, this new plant - the fifth Voltalia power plant in operation in the PACA region - has a 20-year electricity sale contract and will be fully operational by the end of the month.

"3.9 megawatts, 13,260 modules and 3,509 tons of CO2 avoided each year are the main key figures of this solar plant which production corresponds to the consumption of 5,000 people," the renewable energy group said.

The market seels to be pleased, with the share up almost 2% in early trading on Tuesday.
