GTT: tank order for eight new LNG carriers

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) announces that, in Q2 2024, it has received an order from an Asian shipyard to design the tanks for eight new LNG carriers, on behalf of a Middle Eastern shipowner.


These LNG carriers will each have a total capacity of 174,000 m3 and will incorporate a membrane containment system from the NO96 family developed by GTT. Delivery is scheduled between Q4 2026 and Q1 2028.
