Scor: solid renewals on 1 April

(CercleFinance.com) - Scor has announced strong renewals as of 1 April 2021, with it increasing its gross premiums up for renewal by 14.
3%2 at constant exchange rates to 600 million euros, with a 4.3% overall increase in pricing

"These continued improvements in pricing and terms & conditions are fully in line with the positive outlook set in September 2020 at the Investor Day and already observed in January," SCOR said.

Most of the portfolio renewed on 1 April concerns Asia-Pacific (64%), where Japan and India are the main markets. In the US (16% of premiums to be renewed on 1 April), Scor is continuing with its disciplined underwriting approach.
