Arkema: agreement to acquire a DOW business

(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire the flexible packaging lamination adhesives business of the American group Dow, an activity generating annual sales of around $250m.


The project is based on an enterprise value of $150 million (around 10x 2024e EBITDA) and will require around $50m in implementation costs or investments over the next three years.

The project should enable Arkema to become a key player in the attractive market for flexible packaging solutions. Subject to the approval of certain competition authorities, it should be finalized in Q4 2024.
