EDF: submits its offer to ČEZ for an EPR1200 reactor

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces that it has submitted to the Czech operator ČEZ and its subsidiary Elektrárna Dukovany II its initial offer for an EPR1200 reactor to be built at the Dukovany site in the Czech Republic.


EDF has submitted an initial offer for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and industrial commissioning services for an EPR1200 reactor for the Dukovany site (Unit 5) as well as for the supply of fuel assemblies for this project.

The group also made indicative proposals to support the development of a fleet of reactors in the Czech Republic, including an additional reactor at Dukovany (Unit 6) and two additional reactors at the Temelin site (Units 3 and 4).
