Engie: issues E500m of hybrid bonds

(CercleFinance.com) - On 27 June, Engie issued subordinated 500 million euros of perpetual subordinated bonds with a first call date after 6 years

The final order book was oversubscribed to more than twice.
The group will pay a coupon of 1.625% p.a. on these securities, which is amongst the lowest ever seen for this type of financial instrument.

In 2019, Engie has placed hybrid bonds totaling 1.5 billion euros.
