Bureau Veritas: cooperation agreement with Cornis

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas announces that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Cornis to provide wind farm owners and operators with advanced blade inspection services based on in situ data collection and digital image processing.


The service uses HD cameras to digitize the outer surface of the blade, while an automated artificial intelligence tool identifies and measures defects using a database of over 30,000 blades - the largest in the industry.

As part of this partnership, Bureau Veritas experts will conduct on-site inspections using state-of-the-art equipment, while Cornis specialists will process the data and create complete HD images of each blade.
