Valneva: reduces quarterly loss

(CercleFinance.com) - Valneva has reported a net loss of E18.
1m for Q1 2023, down from a loss of E26m in Q1 2022, with its adjusted EBITDA loss falling from E13.3m to E12.3m year-on-year.

The vaccine company's total revenues rose almost 54% to E33.5m, with product sales nearly doubling to E32.1m, boosted by sales of Ixiaro and Dukoral, which more than quadrupled.

Valneva has confirmed its outlook for 2023, with total sales and other operating income estimated at between E220m and E260m, including E130m to E150m in product sales, and R&D expenditure estimated at between E70m and E90m.
