Interparfums: leading the SBF 120 on Berenberg comments

(CercleFinance.com) - Interparfums climbed on the Paris Bourse this Tuesday in the wake of favourable comments by Berenberg, which initiated its coverage of the stock with a buy recommendation.


In mid-morning trading, the share price of the licensed perfume designer was up just under 3%, one of the leaders of the SBF 120 index, which was trailing, up just 0.3% at the same time.

Berenberg praises the pure-play specialisation of the prestige fragrance manufacturer, which it believes will benefit from the "golden age" currently being experienced by the sector.

All signs point to a significant expansion of its offering over the medium term, given that Interparfums has so far outperformed its market, the German broker says.

Its TP of E62 thus highlights upside potential of around 25%.

The group is due to publish its Q1 sales next Thursday.
