BNP Paribas: Barclays upgrades stock

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Barclays analysts upgraded their rating on the BNP Paribas share from "underweight" to "equal weight," while increasing their corresponding target price from 40.
3 euros to 45.2 euros.

In a report on European banks, the broker believes that a number of risks surround its negative investment thesis on the group, starting with the assumption of a disposal of its US retail banking subsidiary BancWest and the prospect of a capital redistribution that could follow in its wake.

The BNP Paribas share is pretty flat at noon in Paris.
