Dassault Systèmes: Stifel still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel maintains its "buy" rating on Dassault Systèmes shares, having increased its target price for them from 39 euros to 45 euros.


The analyst notes that Q2 revenues were 4% higher than expected thanks to a solid performance from licences and the cloud, with 3DExperience in particular accelerating to +30% growth.

Meanwhile, operating profit was 2% ahead of expectations, albeit with a margin that is slightly below expectations. FY22 forecasts have been revised upwards largely due to FX factors, with continued growth in licensing, suggesting that overall demand continues to resist, the analyst says.
