Vivendi: upbeat outlook for 2017

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi boasted strong economic and financial performance of its main businesses over 2017; namely the music publisher Universal Music Group, the media group Canal, the advertising agency Havas media and video games publisher Gameloft.


The group's turnover is expected to increase by almost 5% like-for-like and its adjusted operating profit, after the extraordinary charges of Canal group, is expected to rise by 20% to 25% in organic terms of (excluding the positive impact from the integration of Havas).

The group's final results, integrating extraordinary financial and tax items, as well as the situation of its main financial stakes (Telecom Italia, Telefonica, Fnac, Darty, Mediaset and Ubisoft) will be published after trading on 15 February 2018.
