Vinci: Q1 consolidated sales up 4.8%
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has reported consolidated sales of E15.
7bn for the Q1 2024, up 4.8% (organic growth: +4.2%) y-o-y.
The Cobras IS business grew 7.6% LFL, ahead of the Concessions business (+5.3%), Vinci Energies (+3.8%) and Vinci Construction (+3.8%). Only the Real Estate business was down (-16.1%).
Vinci also reported an 11% increase in its order book to E66.7bn, driven by a 19% rise in new orders to E18.5bn.
Against this backdrop, Vinci confirms its outlook for 2024, forecasting a further increase in sales, albeit less than that achieved in 2023.
Although the company refers to the French government's new tax on long-distance transport infrastructure (estimated at around E280m), Vinci believes that net income in 2024 could be close to the level achieved in 2023.
