Schneider: supports Nexans' digital transformation

(CercleFinance.com) - Schneider Electric (SE) announces that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Nexans, setting up a joint program to accelerate Nexans' transformation into a company driven by clear, rich and usable data, serving as a foundation for gains in performance, security and flexibility.


The digitisation of the Group's plants will further improve the efficiency of its production lines, pave the way for predictive maintenance and reduce CO2 emissions, Schneider Electric said.

This digital transformation will also help Nexans meet its commitment to become greenhouse gas neutral by 2030. Nexans cables and services clients will also benefit from this program through improved product availability, Schneider says.
