Thales: signs deal with SF Airlines in China

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces that SF Airlines, China's leading freight airline, has selected Thales and ACSS as the exclusive supplier of ADS-B (Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) on-board equipment for its fleet.


ADS-B (Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) technology aims to significantly improve the efficiency and capacity of air traffic. Thales and ACSS will provide SF Airlines with ADS-B-compatible solutions for its fleet of 55 aircraft, as well as any of the company's future aircraft.

The equipment delivered will include a new Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), a TCAS directional antenna and ATC transponders.
