LVMH: Bulgari inaugurates new manufacturing facility.

(CercleFinance.com) - Valenza a small Italian town of around 20,000 residents now hosts a new Bulgari jewelry manufacturing facility, it was learned this Friday via a statement from LVMH.


This structure was designed by Open Projet, an architectural and engineering company specialising in the integrated management of complex building systems. Built with the help of innovative technologies and environmentally-friendly materials, with a view to obtain the international "LEED" ("Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design") certification, which is the most exacting in existence at present.

The factory revolves around two places: the Cascina dell'Orefice, the site which hosted the first silversmiths of the city in the early 19th century, which was rehabilitated and called the "Glass House"; and a production site inspired by the Roman domus, spread over 3 levels and which has an inner courtyard of 600 square metres.
