Pernod Ricard: stock down despite conference call on Asia

(CercleFinance.com) - The Pernod Ricard share is not benefiting from its conference call specifically conerning Asia, which the spirits group has organised this morning.

The share is currently down 0.5%, underperforming the CAC 40, which is just keeping its head above water, up 0.1%.

In a presentation, Pernod Ricard highlights the strong momentum of this region, where sales are seeing double-digit growth. People in China are particularly fond of Martell cognacs, while spirits of the portfolio acquired from Seagram are performing well in India.

Finally, the "premiumization" strategy is also ongoing in Asia.
