Danone: H1 net profit down 9.1%

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has reported H1 sales of 11.
8 billion euros, up 1.6% LFL y-o-y.

In particular H1 benefited from dynamic business in Q2, with sales over this period up 6.6% LFL to 6.1 billion euros, thanks to a positive contribution from all categories.

H1 underlying operating income slipped 4.2% LFL y-o-y to 1.5 billion euros.

Danone's net profit from recurring operations, group share, was 1 billion euros, down 9.1% compared to H1 2020. As a result, underlying EPS came in at 1.53 euro, compared with 1.68 euro a year earlier.
