Air Liquide: signs LT contract and invests $60m

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide yesterday announced a long-term agreement to supply hydrogen, helium and ultra high purity carbon dioxide to one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers.


As part of the agreement, Air Liquide plans to invest nearly 60 million dollars (about 50 million euros) to build and operate production units and systems that the Group will own at a new production site in Phoenix, Arizona.

The facility is expected to be operational fairly soon - in the second half of 2022.
