Atos: participes in the OneWeb mega-constellation project

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that it has supported OneWeb and its mega-constellation program in the launch of 34 satellites, on 6 February from Baikonur in Kazakhstan, by providing the test equipment that helped reduce the ecological footprint of the process.


This "mega-constellation" project consists of putting into orbit, over a given period, more than 650 satellites which will provide broadband internet access at an affordable price worldwide. The first six satellites were launched in February 2019.

Atos also says that it has received the award for Best supplier of ground support equipment by OneWeb Satellites, in recognition of its technical and commercial capacities and the quality of its support solutions.
